Justin Monroe, a seasoned basketball coach and former professional player, was born and raised in North Carolina. As an American guard, he has built an impressive professional career that spans four continents, competing at a high level in Mexico, the USA, Singapore, France, Palestine, and Doha, Qatar. These diverse experiences have given him a unique, global perspective on the game and its development.
After retiring from professional basketball, Justin settled in San Antonio, Texas, and founded Pro Sports Player Development, where he has worked with athletes of all ages, from youth players to NBA professionals. His passion for mentoring and player development has led hundreds of athletes to achieve their dreams, including many who have earned Division 1 scholarships in their respective sports.
In 2023, Justin took his commitment to youth basketball a step further by founding the San Antonio Suns, an organization dedicated to helping young players in San Antonio advance to the next level of competition. With a focus on player development, mentoring, and life skills, Justin continues to empower young athletes to pursue their basketball careers beyond high school.
Before and during his professional career, Justin also mentored at-risk youth and managed before-and-after school programs, experiences that have shaped his approach to coaching and working with young athletes. His dedication to developing the next generation of basketball talent is matched only by his passion for instilling character, discipline, and work ethic in every player he works with.
